Job Description: Learning and Development (L&D) Supervisor
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning and Development Supervisor to join our organization. The L&D Supervisor will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing training and development programs for employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, training facilitation, and a passion for fostering a culture of continuous learning within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective training programs that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and gaps in employee knowledge and skills.
Design and create engaging training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, and other learning resources.
Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at various levels, ensuring a positive and interactive learning experience.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and key performance indicators.
Manage and maintain the learning management system (LMS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date training records.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
Provide coaching and support to employees to enhance their professional development and performance.
Collaborate with HR to integrate training initiatives into talent development and succession planning processes.
Monitor and report on the impact of training programs on employee performance and organizational success.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design, training delivery, and program evaluation.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
Skills:
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
Proficient in using learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
