To incentivize a long-term mindset from committed DAO members, the ongoing stakers get additional rewards from the ones that unstake. Said differently, the unstakers are charged a percentage of their staking reward, which is then redistributed among the remaining stakers. In general, the charge is higher if one unstakes sooner or more frequently, & peaks at 42% maximum.
