I just got notice I haven't had backup to iCloud in two weeks. I had backupd\fix previously working ok for Xina, but now I seem to have the same issue with Dopamine. Is there a way to get a rootless version of backupd_fix from poomsmart?

As far as I’m aware the palera1n jailbreak works for up to IOS 17 on IPhone X and under. I’m having issues with it on IPhone X, I go into the bootable media for palera1n I created using balenaEtcher select create fake fs do everything it tells me and I can see it on the phone working but after 30ish seconds when it tells me to wait 10mins for the fake fs to be created my phone reboots and nothing happens afterwards doesn’t take up the 10gb or so it says does nothing. So idk what to do to get it to work or if it even will work. If anyone was willing to help I’d really appreciate it.


Edit: I know also that when you create fakefs nothing is going to come up and you have to go back into the palera1n and redo it so you get the app to come up on your phone, I can’t do that as like I said the first step doesn’t do anything.

# Why is this needed?
If you don't want to upgrade to the latest version of iOS because of the problem.
# Prerequirements
* A computer running macOS or Linux
* A checkm8 device (A7-A11)
# Creating SHSH blobs
First, we need a ramdisk to boot and save blobs without any problems
I will use in this tutorial the [verygenericname's sshrd ramdisk](https://github.com/verygenericname/SSHRD_Script).
## Actions
* Open terminal
* Use this command: `git clone https://github.com/verygenericname/SSHRD_Script --recursive && cd SSHRD_Script`

* Run `./sshrd.sh `, without the <>.
The iOS version doesn't have to be the version you're currently on, but it should be close enough, and SEP has to be compatible
If you're on Linux, you will not be able to make a ramdisk for 16.1+, please use something lower instead, like 16.0
* Put your device into DFU mode. A11 users go to recovery first, then DFU.
* Run `./sshrd.sh boot` to boot the ramdisk
### Linux note
On Linux, usbmuxd will have to be restarted. On most distros, it's as simple as these 2 commands in another terminal:

`sudo systemctl stop usbmuxd`

`sudo usbmuxd -p -f`
So if successful, you will see text on your device's screen.
Now use `./sshrd.sh dump-blobs` to save the blobs.
Save somewhere the path to blobs. You will need it when you will restore.
Reboot your device: `./sshrd.sh reboot`
# Restoring
Download futurerestore for [mac](https://github.com/futurerestore/futurerestore/releases/download/194/futurerestore-v194-macOS.tar.xz) or for [linux](https://github.com/futurerestore/futurerestore/releases/download/194/futurerestore-v194-ubuntu_20.04.2.tar.xz) (64 bit only!)
* Extract the tar archive that you downloaded
* Now use this command: `PATH_TO_FUTURERESTORE -t YOUR_BLOB --latest-sep --latest-baseband -d YOUR_IPSW`
* Now just wait when it will boot up
* Done!
