The digital era has brought many opportunities and challenges for people who want to improve their lives. Sometimes, what seems like a small or unlikely chance can lead to great success, while what seems like a big or promising opportunity can end up being a failure. Therefore, I think we need to be careful and alert in every situation to avoid making mistakes and missing out on the best options.

For example, imagine that you are looking for a job online. You see two ads: one is for a well-known company that offers a high salary and benefits but requires a lot of experience and qualifications; the other is for a start-up that offers a lower salary and no benefits, but only requires basic skills and enthusiasm. You might be tempted to apply for the first one, thinking that it is a big opportunity that will change your life for the better. However, you might also face a lot of competition and rejection, or even if you get the job, you might find out that it is not what you expected or wanted. On the other hand, you might ignore the second one, thinking that it is a small or false opportunity that will not make any difference in your life. However, you might also miss out on a chance to learn new things, grow your network, and be part of something innovative and exciting.

Another example is when you are browsing social media. You see two posts: one is from a famous influencer who promotes a product or service that claims to solve all your problems, but requires you to pay a lot of money or share your personal information; the other is from a friend who shares a link to a free online course or webinar that teaches you something useful or interesting, but requires you to spend some time and effort. You might be tempted to click on the first one, thinking that it is a big opportunity that will make your life easier and happier. However, you might also end up being scammed or disappointed, or even if you get the product or service, you might find out that it is not as effective or satisfying as it promised. On the other hand, you might ignore the second one, thinking that it is a small or false opportunity that will not add any value to your life. However, you might also miss out on a chance to gain new knowledge, skills, or perspectives, and be more prepared and confident for future opportunities.

These examples show how important it is to be aware of every situation in this digital era. We should not judge opportunities by their appearance or popularity, but by their potential and suitability for our goals and needs. We should also not be afraid to take risks or try new things, but also not be careless or naive about the consequences or alternatives. By doing so, we can make the most of the opportunities that this digital era offers us and change our lives for the better.

በ2016 ዓ.ም የሚሰጠውን የድህረ-ምረቃ ፕሮግራም የመግቢያ ፈተናን በተመለከተ ተቋማትና ተፈታኞች ሊያውቋቸው፤ ሊከተሏቸውና ሊፈጽሟቸው የሚገቡ አቅጣጫዎች ላይ ትኩረት በማድረግ ከትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የተሰጠ መግለጫ

የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር በየጊዜው የትምህርት ጥራትን የሚያረጋግጡና የትምህርት ውጤታማነትን የሚያሻሻሉ የተለያዩ የለውጥ አጀንዳዎችን በመቅረጽና ተግባራዊ በማድረግ ላይ ይገኛል። እነዚህን የለውጥ ሰራዎች ደግሞ በሁሉም የትምህርት እርከኖች ደረጃ በደረጃ ማስፈጸም ያስፈልጋል። በመሆኑም እስካሁን ድረስ በተሠሩ ጅምር የለውጥ ስራዎች የተሻለ ውጤት ማስመዝገብ ተችሏል።

መንግስት በ2016 ዓ.ም ከያዛቸው የትምህርት የለውጥ ስራዎች መካከል አንዱ አገራዊ የድህረ ምረቃ ፕሮግራም የመግቢያ ፈተና እንደሚሰጥ በቁጥር 1/256/539/15 ሐምሌ 20 ቀን 2015 ዓ.ም በተጻፈ ደብዳቤ ማሳወቃችን ይታወሳል።

ስለሆነም ፈተናውን በተያዘለት እቅድና ጥራት ለማከናወን ይቻል ዘንድ ተቋማትና ተፈታኞች ሊያውቋቸው፤ ሊከተሏቸውና ሊፈጽሟቸው የሚገቡ አቅጣጫዎች እንደሚከተለው ተቀምጧል።

1. የድህረ ምረቃ የመግቢያ ፈተናው ከመስከረም 21–23/2016 ዓ.ም በሁሉም የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች በበየነ-መረብ የሚሰጥ መሆኑ፤

2. ተፈታኞች በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ Graduate Admission Testing (GAT) የመመዝገቢያ ፖርታል https://portal.aau.edu.et ከመስከረም 11–20/ 2016 ዓ.ም ድረስ በበይነ መረብ ማመልከት የሚገባቸው መሆኑ፤

3. ተፈታኞች በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የመግቢያ ፈተና (GAT) የመመዝገቢያ ፖርታል ገብተው ሲያመለክቱ የመፈተኛ ጣቢያቸውን (ዩኒቨርሲቲ) እና ሌሎች መረጃዎችን በትክክል እንዲሞሉ እና መረጃ በትክክል እንዲደርሳቸው ማድረግ፤

4. ተፈታኞች ለፈተና ሲያመለክቱ ፈተናውን ለመውሰድ የሚከፈለውን ክፍያ ብር 1000.00 (አንድ ሺህ ብር) በቴሌ ብር እንዲከፍሉ ከወዲሁ የቴሊ ብር አካውንት መክፈት እንደሚገባው መረጃው በትክክል እንዲያውቁ ማድረግ፤

5. ተቋማት ለመማር ያመለከቱና የሚያመለክቱ አመልካቾችን በበየነ መረብ አንዲያመለክቱ እንዲሁም የፈተና ፕሮግራምና ተያያዥ መረጃዎችን በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ድረ ገጽና ፖርታል ፤ www.aau.edu.et and https://portal.aau.edu.et ብሎም ኦፊሽያል ቴሌግራም ቻናል፤ Testing Center IER እንዲያገኙ መረጃውን በትክክል መስጠት፤

6. በየትኛውም የመፈተኛ ማዕከላት ለፈተና ለመቀመጥና ፈተናውን ለመውሰድ ተፈታኞች ፎቷቸው ያለበት Test Admission Ticket (TAT) ይዘው መገኘት ያለባቸው መሆኑ(https://portal.aau.edu.et/Web/ApplyForAdmission/Test Taker)

7. የመግቢያ ፈተናው በመላ ሀገሪቱ ባሉ የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ብቻ በበየነ መረብ የሚሰጥ በመሆኑ ከኢንተርኔት ጋር የተገናኙ ኮምፒዩተር ያላቸው የመፈተኛ ማዕከላት Safe Exam Browser (SEB) ተጭኖባቸው Corrective and Preventive Maintenance ተደርጎላቸው እንዲሁም Power Backup እንዲኖራቸው ተደርጎ ከመውጫ ፈተና በተገኘው መልካም ተሞክሮ መሰረት አስፈላጊ ግብዓቶች ከወዲሁ ዝግጁ ማድረግ፤

8. ፈተናው በዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ኔትወርክ ብቻ የሚሰጥ በመሆኑ ይህንኑ የየዩኒቨርሲቲው አይሲቲ ዳይሬክተር ከኢትዮ ቴሌኮም ጋር በመተባበር እንዲያስፈጽም መመሪያ እንዲሰጥ፤

9. ከተፈታኞች ከሚሰበሰብ ከፍያ ውስጥ ለየዩኒቨርሲቲዎቹ የሚደርሰውን ድርሻ በቴሌ ብር አማካኝነት በቀጥታ ለዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የውሰጥ ግቢ አካውንት ገቢ የሚደረግ በመሆኑ ሁሉም ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የቴሌ ብር አካውንት እንዲኖራቸው ከኢትዮ ቴሌኮም ጋር በመስራትና በመክፈት፤ የውስጥ ገቢ የንግድ ባንክ አካውንታቸውን እንዲሁም ለዚህ ጉዳይ አንድ Focal Person በመምረጥ ሙሉ መረጃውን ለአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እስከ መስከረም 5 ቀን 2016 እንዲልኩ፤

10. የመግቢያ ፈተናውን የትምህርት ሚኒስቴርና አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በጋራ የሚያስተዳድሩ እና ከኢትዮ ቴሌኮም ጋር በመተባበር የሚሰጥ መሆኑን፤

11. የፈተናውን ውጤት ተፈታኞች ፈተናቸውን ሲጨርሱና በመጨረሻ መልሳቸውን ሲያስገቡ ወዲያውኑ ማየት የሚችሉ መሆኑን፤

12. ተፈታኞች የፈተናውን ውጤት የሚያሳይ ሰርተፊኬት ወረቀት (Hard Copy) አትመው መውሰድ የሚችሉ ሲሆን ለመማር በሚያመለክቱበት ተቋም ሰርተፊኬቱን ማቅረብ የሚችሉ መሆኑ፤

13. የድህረ ምረቃ ፕሮግራሞች የመግቢያ ፈተና ማለፊያ ነጥብ በትምህርት ሚኒስቴር የሚወሰን መሆኑ፤

ይህ በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ የሚሰጠውን የመግቢያ ፈተና ያላለፉ ተማሪዎችን ተቋማት የማይቀበሉ መሆናቸው፣ ያለፉ ተማሪዎችን ሲያበላ ደግሞ ሌሎች የመግቢያ መስፈርቶችን የሚያረጋግጡ መሆናቸው እንዲሁም በተቋማትና በትምህርት ክፍል ደረጃ ጭምር በየተቋማቱ የውስጥ አሰራር መሰረት ሌሎች ፈተናዎች እና መመዘኛ መስፈርቶች የሚሰጡ መሆኑን እያሳወቅን፤ ከላይ በተገለጹት አቅጣጫዎች መሰረት ሁሉም አካላት የበኩላቸውን ኃላፊነትና ሚና እንዲወጡ እናሳስባለን።
