Urgent: Request for Exam Cancellation and Retake - Sub Inspector of Food (Grade III) 2022
Madam/Sir,
I am writing to emphasize the urgent need for the cancellation and retake of the Sub Inspector of Food (Grade III) 2022 examination conducted by the Public Service Commission, West Bengal.
Question Booklet Sharing on Social Media: Despite explicit regulations against post-exam sharing, numerous instances of question booklet dissemination on social media platforms have been observed. This flagrant violation has compromised the confidentiality of the exam. Attached is irrefutable evidence illustrating the widespread sharing of exam materials.
Lax Frisking Measures: The absence of adequate frisking measures within examination halls raises serious concerns regarding the security and integrity of the exam environment. Eyewitness accounts and reports have highlighted the insufficient scrutiny of candidates entering the exam premises, creating opportunities for malpractice. Furthermore, it has come to our attention that a few candidates from different examination centers were caught with electronic devices, yet no strict action was taken against them. This inconsistency in handling violations exacerbates doubts about the fairness of the examination process.
Premature Circulation of Answer Keys: The circulation of answer keys on social media platforms just 45 minutes before the commencement of exam session -II is deeply troubling. This premature access to answers undermines the fairness of the examination process and disadvantages honest candidates. Attached is evidence documenting this breach.
Disparity in Difficulty Levels: Significant disparities in the difficulty levels of the exam across different shifts have been noted, resulting in unfair advantages for candidates in certain sessions. Comparative analyses of exam papers highlight this imbalance, further undermining the credibility of the exam.
Given the gravity of these issues and the concrete evidence supporting them, I implore the West Bengal Public Service Commission to:
1.Cancel and Retake the Exam: To restore integrity and fairness, it is imperative to cancel the current exam and organize a retake under more stringent conditions.
2. Implement Enhanced Security Measures: Future exam administrations must include stringent measures such as single-shift scheduling, efficient frisking with metal detectors, biometric verification, and provision of carbon copies of OMR sheets to ensure the integrity of the process.
3. Enforce Punitive Measures for Malpractice: Those found guilty of malpractice must face severe disciplinary action to deter future misconduct and uphold the sanctity of the examination process.
I urge the Commission to act swiftly and decisively in addressing these concerns to safeguard the interests of all candidates and uphold the credibility of the Sub Inspector of Food (Grade III) 2022 examination.
Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
