Helping the People in Dire Need in Mindanao
TACURONG CITY, Sultan Kudarat — Sultan Kudarat, one of the provinces in Mindanao, declared a state of calamity due to the prolonged dry spell caused by the El Niño phenomenon.
To help affected residents in the area, the Iglesia Ni Cristo conducted a Lingap sa Mamamayan (Care for Humanity) in Tacurong City.
Care packages were distributed to the residents, with Brother Alfredo Rodriguez, the Supervising Minister of the Ecclesiastical District of Sultan Kudarat, leading the effort.
