Looking back at the past year, we're excited to reflect on how far we've come since winning first prize in the Algorand Hackathon! It's been a rewarding journey, and we want to thank everyone who worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life

Our winning project, Goracle formerly Algoracle, is an Algorand-based Oracle feed that provides real-time data like prices and weather. It's been an incredible journey developing it, and we're thrilled to announce that the full protocol will be ready by the end of May. It's an innovative tool that we believe will have many applications in the future.

Thank you to everyone who made it to the end of Week 4.

What happens to my node now?

It is safe to start shutting down your node. But don’t leave just yet! The Goracle team is beginning the plans for a permanent testnet. A permanent testnet is important for developers to have a stable environment for development. Details and Rewards for this program will be announced at the end of week 5.

What happens after Incentivized Tesnet - Phase I

Once the bonus week 5 is complete, Goracle will announce the final points and rewards for all early participants. Then, we will begin the second Incentivized Testnet with permanent testnet, greater rewards, and attracting more users and developers to Goracle.

How is the Incentivized Testnet Phase I going? Is it successful?

Phase I was a great success in terms of testing the product, with very little marketing from the Goracle team! here are some of the stats:

18,000 people participated (and 20,000 bots were removed )
7,600 people ran a node
3,000 people submitted 7,000 app ideas
8,000 memes and photos of your city were submitted
900 people got whitelisted to node sale (over 7,000 requested access)

What are the marketing plans for Goracle before exchange listings?

Goracle code is locked for Audit. A budget of 100K USD has been approved for marketing. Goracle will announce the partnerships it is working on, with Algorand, various customers, and of course, future blockchain expansions.

When is the Node sale Deadline? Why am I having trouble getting access?

Goracle node sale ends Tuesday, April 25. The sale is heavily restricted, so if you think you should be eligible, please make sure to register here first. https://testnet-app.goracle.io/whitelist and send us a message to update the Tokensoft access list. Once the sale is over, we will announce what will happen to unsold tokens.

The Goracle node sale is the chance for the community members and node runners to get GORA tokens before the public sale. Make sure to complete your KYC today, before the sale opens

Where is it happening? Why did you choose that platform.

The sale is happening on Tokensoft. Tokensoft is one of the most compliant launchpads. Compliance is a major requirement for major exchange listings, as well as staying away from regulatory bodies (e.g. SEC).

Vesting will happen through the Goracle vesting portal. Click here to test out how vesting works. Note, the vesting contract will be fully audited to ensure it works correctly and cannot be hacked. The Pera wallet is not supported by the Tokensoft platform at this time.

Who is Eligible to participate? How can I check my eligibility?

Node runners from the Goracle testnet, as well as select early community members. There are two ways you can verify your eligibility:

You can check your eligibility at: https://testnet-app.goracle.io/whitelist or by completing KYC on Tokensoft and seeing whether “Access Granted” is showing for the node sale.

If you have not been participating in Goracle, or are not running a node, you are likely not eligible. However, the public sale, will be hosted on Tokensoft, Poolz, and a major exchange, so there will always an opportunity to participate.
