Mohammed Siraj has dismissed KL Rahul just once in T20s for figures of 1/96 from 53 balls! LSG are averaging 50.63 runs per powerplay, in contrast with RCB who average a league-high 57 runs. Kyle Mayers and Faf du Plessis were IPL 2023’s two greatest powerplay run scorers after 40 matches, with 204 runs (avg 51, 9.13rpo) and 201 runs (avg 67, 10.39rpo) respectively.

Punjab Kings have had a different top run scorer in each of their last five matches. Sam Curran took 3-31 in his first match as skipper but has gone wicketless in his last two matches leading Punjab Kings. Only bottom of the table Delhi Capitals have lost more wickets than Punjab Kings’ average of 7.43 in the 2023 IPL. Lucknow Super Giants have the best bowling economy rate of 8.12 across this year’s competition. In 11 innings at the IS Bindra Stadium, Shikhar Dhawan has produced a strike-rate of over 145 on only one occasion. After not bowling in his previous six IPL appearances, Marcus Stoinis has taken two wickets in both of his last two matches. Sam Curran has bowled 50 balls to KL Rahul in professional white ball cricket for just one wicket (1/48).
